In 2014, with deed of incorporation dated December 2013, Amateur Radio Society began his associative journey. During the performance of the office of President ARS, not everything went smoothly. It is normal for unexpected association events to occur; the important thing was to resolve it as quickly as possible and in an absolutely legitimate manner. There were many satisfactions, starting from the exponential increase in the number of members to participation in association activities. ARS has always stood out because it has not imposed or tied the activity of the numerous Clubs to top-down visions but only to the observance of the rules contained in the Statute and in the implementing regulations. About this, It is a must to thank our honorary president, Luigi I4AWX who in addition to being an excellent OM is also a very valid lawyer who did not skimp on advice and suggestions. He was my guide in every way, and it still is. ARS has always paid particular attention to its members, so much so as to identify activities and services aimed at satisfying the needs of its members.. Proof of this is the diffusion of the periodical "The Radio”, edited by Mauro IK1WVQ. I can say that we succeeded with a very high percentage. In our activities we were very present in participating, as individuals or as #Circles at various Radio events such as diplomas and/or contests. We are certainly among the very few who have, partly, redistributed the membership fee in favor of those clubs that have undertaken certain projects. We are certainly the association that has offered an affordable membership fee (15€) which also includes theInsurance in case of damage to third parties resulting from the fall, or other, of the antennas. We didn't stop here. We have associated insurance included in the fee, as per law, also further attention: sign of our concern towards our members. Legal PROTECTION in the event of disputes... such as condominiums. It does not end here. The new management with IK2JYT Giovanni President and the whole National Executive Committee, He's thinking about another one that concerns the possibility of insurance INSURANCE, comparable to that of cars. Today, if the antenna "falls"., damages caused to third parties are paid; but if your flat roof, yourself, or anything else of your property is damaged, you are not entitled to any refund. We thought about it overcome even this limit by seeking an agreement with our company. It may cost a few euros more but it is certainly useful: However, we will give you the opportunity to choose the service if it costs more. In short, today it is convenient TO SIGN UP our Society. I write convenient in the literal sense, because we do what we say and we also give you the necessary certifications, as happens today for all members who receive a communication from the Secretariat to which the documentation extracted from the insurance contract. It is true that we have given up on the Buerau QSL service. We did it because we considered that today, in the digital age, there are other means that are certainly faster and less expensive, to exchange QSLs.
