This was the thought expressed by Marconi when submitting the invention of wireless telegraphy.
We know, however, that Man has always labored to find the best way to destroy their own kind; in fact, once you understand the possibilities offered by the invention Marconi, This was immediately used for military purposes: from communications to radar.
In 2015 marks the 100th anniversary of the entry into the war during the First World War in which he experienced the first rudimentary wireless connections; the Association "Those of the Radio” (www.quellidellaradio.it) in collaboration with the Museum Piana delle Orme (www.pianadelleorme.it) want to retrace the historical journey of these technological equipment from 1915 today through an exhibition. Besides the exhibition of rare memorabilia military widely documented (some of which functioning) and the presence of many amateur radio associations that bring their contribution, many will be the various initiatives undertaken:
– exhibition of equipment for telegraphy exposed by Eliseo Chiarucci IK6BAK (www.morsekey.net) that explain the origins of the Morse Code and what role has had over time,enigma and key– exposure of a specimen of the machine cryptographic "ENIGMA" owned by Antonio Fucci (www.radiomilitari.com) which will also hold a conference on the use of the same,
– Conference Piergiulio Subiaco IK0PIB (already I0SUB) on the experiences of Marconi during the First World War,
In the two-day event will be active the special station with the name Ministerial: II0RG operating in 20 and 40mt; to all those that will link (OM, SWL e BCL) QSL will be sent a reminder.
There will also be a mini market of antique radios and the ability to customize various gadgets.
